How are the treatments applied?
The treatment is applied as a direct spray to the foliage of shrubs, vines, hedges, and groundcovers. For trees, treatment is applied to the soil around the base of the plant.
How often are applications performed?
Applications are performed twice a year for season long growth control.
Will I be notified before a treatment is performed?
Yes, we will notify you of the scheduled application prior to it being performed.
Do I need to prune before treatment?
The plants need to be the desired size and shape prior to treatment. If the plants are already at the desired size and shape, then there will be no need for additional pruning.
Can I prune after the treatment and still achieve growth control?
Pruning after the treatment can remove regulated areas of the plant, leading to inconsistent growth control. Hand pruning to remove ‘escape’ shoots will not affect overall growth control.
Is there a residue on the plants after they are treated?
Yes, there will be a slight white residue on the leaves after application. This residue will wear off with rain and irrigation.
Is there risk of burning or damaging plants with this treatment?
The vast majority of species display no negative effects from the treatment. In many cases plants appear greener and have more flowers.
Is the application safe for people and pets?
The application should have no negative effects to people, pets, or other wildlife.
